Kelvin and Marisol are amazing hosts. The Inn is comfortable and in a great location to explore all the quaint village of Sandwich has to offer. Breakfast was delicious! I look forward to my next trip to Sandwich and I will again stay at this lovely spot.

Have just returned from a two night stay while attending a wedding in Sandwich. Kelvin and team were very attentive and couldn’t do enough for us. A great breakfast both mornings and a great location in the heart of the town.

We stayed at the St.Peters B&B for 2 nights, in the Stable Boy Cottage. It’s a really nice 17th century building with traditional features. We had 2 rooms in the cottage with self-catering options if we wanted to use them. The included breakfast each morning was delicious, with plenty of choice and cooked to order full English too. Great hosts/owners who can’t do enough to help and share their knowledge of the local area.

We enjoyed our one night stay at the St Peter's Bed & Breakfast. The bed was reasonably comfortable, the ensuite facilities were excellent (a bath and separate shower) and everything was spotlessly clean. The 5 star breakfast stole the show.Although situated by St Peter's Church and central to the town, the good news is that the church clock no longer chimes every 15 minutes at night.

Kelvin was very welcoming, providing us with much needed tea on our arrival after a day’s cycling.Lovely b&b, room very comfortable, great breakfast.Would definitely return.

Stayed for one night room was clean, bathroom was spacious and modern. Everything in the room you need. Breakfast was good plenty of food, delicious cooked breakfast. Would definitely stay again. Close to everything as well.

I stayed at St Peter’s with my friend and we had the twin room with an external bathroom.The house is old, quirky and extremely comfortable.We slept really well and there were fans to keep us cool during the night.We had tea on arrival and the breakfast was amazing - cooked to perfection!Highly recommended

It has already been our fourth stay at this lovely B&B, always on our way back home as Sandwich is near the ferry port and a very nice little town. When travelling via Dover-Calais it must be Sandwich and of course St. Peters Bed & Breakfast. The rooms are very cosy and the hostes are attentive and nice.

Helpful and friendly

Easy to contact, as I had an inquiry for my stay. Clean and tidy, with a warmth of welcome and hospitality. Eager to make the stay comfortable, with a nice, rich breakfast to accommodate everyone's appetite. It's suitable for families, solo travellers or business. While there is beauty in the entire vintage interior, the place is just around the corner from the local pubs and harbour and is also a few minutes' walking distance away from the train station. If I ever go back to Sandwich, that is definitely the place i'd like to stay again.

As soon as we arrived we were offered a cup of tea or coffee from our fantastic hosts Kelvin and Marisol. Their great hospitality continued through out our two night stay. Our room at the rear of the property overlooked the garden. It was very clean, comfortable and tastefully furnished. Breakfasts were excellent with a large selection of juices, fresh fruit, cereals and yoghurts followed by a super English Breakfast. The guesthouse is located in a very quiet area, but just minutes away from a number of very good restaurants. We travelled by train and the station is an easy 10 minutes walk. Sandwich is a delightful medieval town to explore, with easy transport links by bus or train to neighbouring towns.

St peters bed and breakfast was lovely very friendly and the rooms were perfect we had a lovely view from our room.Lots of lovely pubs and restaurants to choose from.

Well what can you say about this little gem. Absolutely amazing B&B breakfast was gorgeous nothing to much trouble. The host Kelvin and Marisol were perfect from the time we arrived so friendly and welcoming. The room we stayed in was so lovely. No surprising they have a 5 star rating would highly recommend staying if visiting Sandwich you will not be disappointed

Kelvin and Marisol are charming hosts who clearly enjoy welcoming guests. Their home is unique with period features and they go to a lot of trouble, especially over the full English breakfast which was very good.Sandwich is a very historic place to visit and the b&b is centrally placed.

A lovely warm welcome and a beautiful antique feel to the B&B itself. The bedroom was comfortable and we appreciated the baby cot being ready to use before we arrived. The breakfast was really really nice and they made us feel very welcome.

We had a lovely stay here. The room was really large, comfortable and spotless. The bed was so comfortable! It had everything we needed and was in a lovely location in easy reach of the Salute to the 40's event we were attending. The hostess wasextremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious with a choice of cereals, yoghurts, fruit and a full English. We would definitely stay here again if we go back to Sandwich.

We received a very warm welcome from the friendly owners. Stable Boy Cottage was very comfortable and spacious. The cooked breakfast was excellent. We highly recommend St. Peters B&B and would stay again.

We stayed here on 11 April and we found this B&B to be absolutely charming. The owner was very friendly and made us feel very welcome.Located in the centre of Sandwich,close to all amenities it is a good base for exploring the local area. The bed was super comfortable and the breakfast was fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

We stayed here as a family of four adults for the night as we were attending a wedding in the town. The hosts were very a very nice couple and couldn't do more to make our stay a good one. The two bedroom cottage we had was clean and well equipped. We all enjoyed a very hearty breakfast the following morning. Many thanks to you both for your attention.

Absolutely lovely - slap in the middle of mediaeval Sandwich with all the sights (including the train station) within a 10-15 min walk. The room was clean and quiet and the hosts couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. Cracking breakfast and very helpful guides to what to see in town. Would definitely stay again :)

My home from home in Sandwich! Very comfortable lodgings!

We arrived a little early and were met by the owner. He made us feel extremely welcome, made us a cup of tea and spent some time talking to us about Sandwich which is a brilliant little village in the South East of England that has many similarities with York.On our day of leaving the weather was horrendous and he offered to drop us of at the station. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was beautiful and the breakfast was delicious. We will stay here again no doubt. It's easy to see why the hotel has such good scores. They have earned them and they are deserved.

We yet again had a fantastic stay at St Peters B&B..We have now stayed here quite a few times as we have family that live in Sandwich..It’s like a home from home & Kelvin is so welcoming & friendly..This is the first time that we have stayed in the Stable Boy cottage situated to the back of the house..It is so warm & spacious with a nice little lounge and kitchen area to prepare your own food..Nothing is too much trouble & Kelvin goes out of his way to see to that..Beautiful location, highly recommend staying here as it’s the best place in Sandwich without a doubt..Thank you!Ian & Beverley Roberts

Good beds, excellent breakfast, magnificent hosts. This is the place to stay in Sandwich, which is a lovely town.

Kevin and Marasol were kind, gave us their bestest to ensure we were comfortable. Breakfast was varied, good and filling. We had not realised how quaint and pleasing Sandwich is. Though a small town, we had good pub grub, The Sandwich Shop tasty cheese and ham, exotic @ My Thai and italian Bella Amalfi.With such wonderful hospitality at St Peter's B&B infront of the beautiful old St Peter's Church that rang the 8pm curfew bells, as well as the other locals, it was no surprise that we extended our stay with Kevin and Marasol. And we'd return, for altogether, it was a delightful holiday. Thank you St Peter's and Sandwich.

Sándwich is a delightful town, St Peter’s B and B is in a superb position, short walk to shops, museums, bars, cafes and restaurant. Also very short walk to bus station and 5 minutes walk to train station. Comfortable bed, great breakfast, friendly hosts

We appreciated the warm hospitality of Kalvin and his wife.They made us feel welcome in their home providing us with hearty breakfasts each morning whilesharing the history of their home and the community of Sandwich.We also enjoyed the company of fellow travelers at breakfast during our 2 night stay.

We had a lovely stay at St. Peter’s Bed and Breakfast.The hosts was very welcoming, and helpful. Our room was very comfortable, with nice little extras like a fridge and a fan. Very comfortable bed and pillows, and extremely clean and tidy. Huge bathroom with great shower.Lovely breakfast as well, we couldn’t have asked for more, and we would not hesitate to return next year and stay for longer. The whole town is extremely pretty, and has a tremendous atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit.

The charming property is in the middle of historic and picturesque Sandwich. Parking was no problem and there was no traffic noise,it was very peaceful and extremely convenient. Our accomodation was comfortable, cleanand had everything we needed. The breakfast was good and our host could not have been more helpful. We would definitely like to stay at St Peter's again. There are many restaurants and pubs, shops and cafes within easy walking distance and the coast is only minutes away. Take a trip to Deal just along the coast and many other places of interest which are within easy reach.

What a lovely place in the middle of Sandwich. We were in the annexe which was very well equipped and very quiet. Kelvin looked after us really well and made sure breakfast was just how we liked it. There were 2 bedrooms but our bed was incredibly creaky and noisy but otherwise this was a great stay.

Tastefully decorated, spotless and comfortable room. Very warm welcome from Kelvin and his wife who could not have been more helpful and hospitable. Generous, tasty breakfast with lots of choice. A very professionally run guest house with a genuinely personal atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Kelvin was helpful from the off with parking with bags with a welcoming drink on arrival . The room was very spacious , the bed super comfortable. Lovely garden to sit in on a nice day.Breakfast was excellent and plenty of fresh fruit available as well as the cooked , My wifes dietary request was met. All in all a great couple, well run establishment in the centre of Sandwich . Superb

Our room was the one pictured with the two single beds, very comfortable nights sleep after a hard day cycling to Sandwich.Very welcoming host who sorted out secure storage for our bikes and a welcome pot of tea on arrival.But the best part of the stay was the breakfast the following morning, more like a break feast!Very well located for all the amenities that Sandwich Town has to offer.

My Mum and I stayed at St Peter’sfor two nights, on our first ever visit to Sandwich. We received a wonderful warm welcome from Kelvin and Marisol, who couldn’t do enough for us. The room was comfortable with a lovely view onto St Peter’s Church.Breakfast was delicious and generous and Kelvin had a wealth of advice for places to visit and eat. We spent one day at Walmer Castle and another at Goodnestone Place-both beautiful places with interesting histories and lovely gardens.Sandwich itself is a fascinating medieval town with interesting buildings round every corner.A really friendly, welcoming and comfortable place to stay!

Great little place. Ideal for accessing the superb golf courses nearby. Very comfortable rooms and great breakfast. Excellent hosting from the owner Kalvin. Recommend the Mai Thai restaurant and the George and Dragon also!

St. Peter’s is a historic building in the middle of Sandwich which exceeded our expectations. It was conveniently situated and looks out over a picturesque church. Our room was bright, clean and well presented. Our hosts were friendly, thoughtful to our needs and interesting and informative to talk to. Thank you for a lovely stay .

Very friendly hosts offering a super B&B experience right in the centre of a most interesting town, close to the coast with a fascinating history. Many historical buildings to visit and narrow streets to explore with a huge variety of shops, pubs and restaurants to enjoy.

Myself and my friend, unexpectedly needed accommodation in the area with one clicking onto.com bookings we were recommended Saint Peters bed and breakfast. What a find our hosts cannot do enough for us in the middle of winter. This cosy warm haven was a delight and the breakfast was wonderful. If you’re in the area and you need accommodation this is the place today if you want a home from home.

This was an amazing experience, an authentic medieval house in the heart of Sandwich. We visited in winter and it was very cozy and warm inside our cottage. We had everything we need for a perfect stay and the host was very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.

What makes Bed and Breakfasts good is the direct and personal involvement of the owners. As soon as we arrived a pot of tea was made while we sat around the table chatting with The owner as he explained local area and best place to leave the car, hosts were great and helpful. A brilliant location for our wedding we were travelling for with attention to detail.We stayed in the cottage which was perfect for our needs and breakfast was just what was needed for our heavy heads from the night before.

The location of St Peters Bed and Breakfast is perfect - a quiet cul-de-sac but in the heart of town, just a minute's walk from the main street.We were delighted to find that Sandwich is a medieval gem, with a good range of pubs and restaurants.Kelvin and his wife were perfect hosts and we enjoyed putting the world to rights over the breakfast table!Food was great too - lovely selection of cereal etc and a beautifully cooked 'full English'.

St Peters was just what we needed after a long walk. We were welcomed with a hot drink and able to quickly relax with a good shower.A brilliant location in amongst all the local restaurants and pubs, we didn't have to go far to get a good meal.Kelvin was a great host and we are very grateful for his care.A wonderful breakfast the next day set us up for another long walk. Thanks Kelvin, you made our walk a real treat.

Tricky to find but Kelvin very helpful with car parking. Very good breakfast choice and quantity.

It was our 4th time at St. Peters Bed&Breakfast and again we loved to stay with Kelvin and Marisol.The house is perfectly situated in beautiful Sandwich, rooms/bath are very comfortable- and we always enjoy the great breakfasts.We are already planning our 5th time in 2023.

What made this stay was Kelvin’s warm hospitality. He made us a hot drink on arrival and organised parking for our car. He is a good talker and it was interesting having a debate with him on life and doubting the world to rights. As for the cottage it was perfect for our needs for one night. Breakfast the next morning was excellent; the ingredients appeared to be of good quality and plentiful. If I had to be picky, the cottage was dusty. There are places where attention to detail is overlooked; I am a stickler for this. Our bed was also a little small, especially for my husband who is 6 ft. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay and would do so again.Thank you Kelvin and Marisol.

Thank you for your genuine thoughts of your experience in our company , older buildings do need constant attention, your chosen room was historically the stable boy cottage. We will, as always give it our Autumn deep clean.I can not remember which of the 2 double 4 6beds you used , one has a foot board whilst the other does not. My experience tells me taller people are more comfortable in standard doubles without footboards. It would be a pleasure to have your company in the future , in an alternative room with larger beds, the Kings room provides a king size bed. The St Peters room asuper king bed.Thank you Sonia

We stayed for four nights and wished it had been longer. Kelvin and Marisol (hope I spelled that right) were such perfect hosts it felt more like staying with friends. Their historic house is beautiful, with a small enclosed garden at the rear, and the atmosphere was always relaxed and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We’re looking forward to our next visit!

It’s that’s was good breakfast and fresh fruits especially raspberries and strawberries, good view outside at the bedroom window and at the garden that is good views.Kevin, who was working at B & B is very kindly, very so friendly, humble especially asked me have a tea and sit down not be rushed going to in at the bedroom, I feel warmly welcome, when every time I asked what I need he always will doing anything what I needs to like have dairy free milk, brown sugar for tea bring in at bedroom.All customers who staying there they were very friendly and humble as well. The owner’s cat is sweet but shy not around as much. There had problem wardrobe and the door locked/handle seems like needs to be fixed. He said will sort it with that. I was locked can’t open the door at the bathroom but thanks to his wife helps me get out of the door. Anyway, Kevin helps me call the train and checked ticket if available, helps me where is bus and how I get on the bus. I think definitely will going to visit at B & B one day might bring one of my friend or bring with a hearing dog for deaf if they allowed let me but I am sure will be fine. You must going there because the owner said giving discount for you and you will love it. There is location in Sandwich is very quiet, friendly people, but most of shops and bus only limits time like closed at 5 or six in the afternoon. If I was late I have to get a taxis..and not far from Ramsgate and Broadstairs.

Having returned to St Peters B&B it felt like our second home, we felt so welcome. Kelvin & Marisol are fantastic hosts.Kelvin went out in the morning to ensure there was fresh fruit for breakfast & there was plenty variety of fruit juices & cereal etc. Marisol’s cooked breakfast was superb.Kelvin is always ready to suggest the best places to eat & places to visit.We had some interesting conversations with Kelvin over a cup of tea in the garden which we enjoyed immensely.The B&B itself is lovely, very old & quirky & the Stable Boys Yard cottage is fantastic.Nothing is too much trouble for Kelvin & if there’s anything you need, you only have to ask him & he’ll do his best to accommodate you.We have no hesitation in recommending St Peter’s B& B to anyone & we look forward to returning again soon.Thanks again Kelvin & Marisol - until the next time 🙂🙂Margaret &Barbara

We had a great stay here at this family run guesthouse. Clean, aesthetically pleasing, welcoming accommodation with an old school charm. Had a really good few days in the Sandwich area. We had never really visited before. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay at the bed and breakfast, a title which does not seem to do it justice.The bed was just like that of a high end hotel,with super soft bedding and pillows. We had tea making facilities, with a mini fridge and a super sized walk in shower. We were attended to very well by Kelvin and his partner at breakfast time,being served a tasty full English, with fresh fruit, cereal and toast.I would highly recommend coming here,and we would happily go back again.

St Peter’s B&B is a very characterful building in a central location with a lovely peaceful rear garden guests can enjoy. Kelvin & Marisol were great hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Kelvin even made us a welcoming cup of tea on arrival. We stayed in the Stable Boys cottage which was cosy & comfortable with comfortable beds that gave us a good nights sleep after a full days sightseeing. The breakfast was fantastic with lots of choice, but the cooked breakfast was brilliant with the poached eggs cooked to perfection. The moment we stepped through the door, we were greeted by a warm, friendly and welcoming 'hello you must be...' from the proprietor, Kelvin.We booked and stayed in the nicely decorated self-contained cottage/maisonette. This comprised of a good sized shower room with sink and WC, then up carpeted stairs to a bare-brick style cosy living space, consisting of a double bedroom, separate kitchenette with ample facilities and an area that had been made into a sitting room for our stay (the proprietor contacts you on booking to ask if you need one or two bedrooms).The second bedroom is attached to the amply furnished/kitted out kitchenette (fridge, microwave with hot plates, sink and basic cooking utensils etc.) and has a double futon sofa with an added (proper!) mattress for comfort. For our stay (a couple), there was also a tv, dining table and two wooden chairs, along with a comfortable Ikea reclining chair, but we spotted extra things like an airbed and highchair for families etc. Yes... there is a good Internet service too.To be honest we didn't really use the kitchen properly, as Kelvin supplied a great breakfast (book on arrival / the evening before, if you want this). We were out both evenings sampling the local restaurants - book early to avoid traipsing around trying to find somewhere that isn't a pub as Sandwich is a popular place!Kelvin has great knowledge of the area, being a 'local boy', but is a well-travelled, thoughtful, knowledgeable, interesting character to chat with, so make sure to take time to chat at breakfast time.If you are travelling by car, let Kelvin know as he may be able to arrange parking for you, depending on how booked with visitors he is.Oh and if you are using satnav, be aware that St. Peter's B&B is at number 36, not 30a. We were almost caught out with this as both buildings have a driveway, but thankfully no-one was about to shout at us and we were able to find our host further down the street! Talking the Kelvin, it sounds like it happens a lot!We have been to Sandwich before and there is plenty of interesting history in this Medieval town, so the longer you stay, the better.If you are driving be patient as while the town is fairly small, there are a lot of one-way streets to get lost in. It is served by a train station (about 0.4 miles along roads to the b&b) with regular trains to London, Canterbury, Ramsgate and Dover etc and a number of bus routes if you are travelling by other means.We will definitely be staying with Kelvin and Marisol again.

We loved the location in this beautiful town, and we were made to feel very welcome. We were pleased with the room, it's views and size, the electric fans to and the little refrigerator. It was clean and comfortable and the bed was huge and comfy. Breakfast was generous and well cooked.On the downside we were rather sad that the window box onto the lovely view was uncared for and dried up, and that the corner chair was unstable. The bedside light switch was a bit difficult to find and switch on, with arthritic fingers. We would have liked a loo roll holder in the not ensuite bathroom and an easier to manipulate door lock in the bathroom - my wife had to call me along to see if I could get it to lock - I could. Not an issue in an ensuite, of course. Overall, a very pleasant stopover on our Kent weekend.

Cottage was smaller than we seen on pictures and expected but was clean.Ideal for people who eat out not for self catering as there weren’t enough equipments. No microwave oven but there is a mini hob with grill.Spacious downstairs bathroom where the shower wasn’t good enough for washing my long hair but it’s ok for quick shower.Kelvin the great host was so friendly and helpful. He made our breakfast time memorable by cooking with special requests by us.

Thank you for taking time to review , we consider reviews important to the hospitality industry, However clarity is important to avoid distorted beliefsand expectations i will focus on some important issues, we are a BED and BREAKFAST and do not allow cooking in the stable boy cottage or any other room, it would be detrimental to other incoming guests with cooking odours. we have 28 places to eat in sandwich and find it unnecessary ,All room sizes are published on booking site and both bedrooms can be complete with double beds.,The shower is an electric 9.8kw which can heat for longer showers , but is not as powerful as main house gas heated shower.We do not consider the bathroom spacious in this accommodation, it is one of our smallest with a toilet, basin and shower.RegardsKelvin

We toured the U.K. and started off in Kent. Kelvin at St Peter’s was welcoming from the off, from the telephone calls to meeting us and helping us park and settle in. Great place to stay and lovely hosts. Kelvin met us on arrival and personally showed us where to park, as there were a number of options. Comfy bed and gorgeous bathroom (HUGE shower in our room!). Don't be put off by the church virtually next door, as the villagers sensibly got together a while back and stopped them ringing from 10pm each night. I spent 4 nights at St Peter’s B&B in August. I chose Sandwich because it was the perfect location to visit a number of historical locations including Dover Castle and Richborough Roman Fort. What I didn’t know beforehand, was how beautiful Sandwich is itself. It’s a great place to walk, eat out and to get a feel for the region. It’s also a perfect location for visiting so many attractions. The B&B itself was very clean and comfortable. My room had tea making facilities and a fridge. The en-suite bathroom was huge and luxurious. The view out of my bedroom window was of St Peter’s Church itself, which was lovely. The bed was extremely comfy and I slept like a log every night. The hosts were welcoming, helpful, friendly and very approachable. They go out of their way to support and help their guests. Kelvin gave me suggestions of places to visit and places to eat out. The breakfasts were extensive and offered fresh fruit, a variety of cereals and breads and an exceptional full English. My breakfast set me up for the day. I would unequivocally recommend St Peter’s B&B and would stay there again in a heartbeat.

The hosts were so very welcoming and friendly. nothing was too much trouble and wereally appreciated the personal touch. They brought us cups of tea on arrival and even personally showed my husband where to park. Our accommodation was lovely and we just discussed ventilation and a TV with the host. I had a beautiful room with the added benefit of a small courtyard and sun loungers. The beautiful walled garden is also open to guests. Kelvin and Marisol are the perfect hosts - they made me feel very welcome - good conversation and they were available to help with anything. Tea and coffee available in my room together with a fridge - so fresh milk. Very warm welcome from Kelvin who greeted us on arrival. Central location which is very handy for walking around the town and further afield. Excellent breakfast which sets you up for the day and the local restaurants are excellent (Kelvin and Marie-Sol are very helpful with their recommendations).

Travelling with teenagers. St Peters is full of character andthe owners Kelvin and Marisol are very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was cooked to order every day and also a wide choice of fruit, cereal, bread, porridge etc. Rooms are all individual and very comfortable. It felt like staying with friends. Great central location. Parking is very limited at the premises but public car parking pay as you go nearby.Beautiful garden. This is a medieval building with steep stairs so contact owner directly for ground floor room not showing on website. Great place.

We spent a great weekend at this bed and breakfast. From arrival to leaving we we treated as if it was our home. Would recommend staying here to anyone. Breakfast was amazing a full selection and a never ending coffee cup absolutely brilliant five stars

Kelvin couldn't have been more accommodating.He welcomed us into the garden and made us a pot of tea!

The Stable block accommodation looked spacious on the website which needs updating. The ground floor has recently been converted to make an extra room which was very cramped and all noise, apart from voices, permeated down from the room above. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, the pillows lumpy and the duvet was very thin.Not a good experience and a total rip off for anyone with a ticket for the Golf Open!

Clearly you gave no attention to the 3 bookings confirmations you received before your arrival, or you would be aware the stables is not the stable boy cottage which has 2 double bedrooms, and not one double as in your confirmation and room name.It also clearly stated theprice during the 2021 open golf championships when we are in very high demand and make no excuses as with every other accommodation provider within 10 miles .24 degrees and you wanted a high tog duvet ? the bed and mattress are 5 months old , like the pillows, and in the 5 months of reopening we have received only positive reviews regarding this ground floor accommodation, suitable for guests with knee and hip replacements/ problems like your husband.I suggest in future you take responsibility for your own lack of focus.And finallywe do not submit to passive aggressive or threat behaviour, as in your previous mail.

My husband and I stayed for one night so that we could sample Sandwich foid and pubs. The b+b was very charming,Kelvin was very helpful especially when it came to parking. The room was lovely,nice big bathroom, mini fridge in the room was very handy. The breakfast was top notch. The location excellent,very central to all shops and eateries. We will definitely return,we had a very relaxing time.

It was a real treat to stay at St Peters B and B. We were visiting family who live nearby and staying here was the icing on the cake. The room was delightful and the hosts very welcoming. From the soft fluffy towels to the massive choice of food at breakfast it was just wonderful.

We spent a very enjoyable 3 days with Kelvin & Marisol as our hosts.There was plenty to choose from on the breakfast menu and the cooked food, particularly the poached eggs, were delicious.We had the room with the 4 poster bed which was very comfortable and the room provided all the facilities we required. We stayed in the very comfortable self -contained new Stable unit .Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts.They went out of their way to welcome us and ensure we enjoyedour stay.We weren’t able to enjoy Kelvin’scooked breakfasts due to Covid restrictions, but were provided with ample provisions to make our own .We were seeing family very close by , andKelvin even welcomed us into his garden to enjoy a cup of tea on several occasions.!He also sorted parking for us , which was much appreciated!St. Peter’s is a great place to stay , such kind and friendly hosts - and so convenient too , right in centre of Sandwich .We would definitely return!

A lovely little place right in the heart of Sandwich. We took the whole of the cottage so had the use of one of the bedrooms as a sitting room. Due to Covid the cooked breakfast was off the agenda, but Kelvin provided us with fruit juice, cereals, bread, sliced ham and cheese. Excellent!

Stayed here for two nights, The B&B is in a central location with parking just around the corner it is very clean and tidy, our room was a good size with a TV and tea/coffee and fridge and a large en suite which looked like it has just been put in. The owners Kelvin and his wife are very friendly and couldn't do enough for us, the breakfast was excellent with no set time,Kelvin gave us tips of things to do in the area, We would recommend the St.Peters B&B to anyone staying in Sandwich Area.

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left Kelvin and Marisol couldn’t do enough for us. Cannot thank them enough for arranging a last minute room transfer for my aunt. Lovely people, great breakfast and an amazing Bathroom.

Upon arrival we were greeted with a warm and friendly smile and were promptly shown to our room.Wow! It was a 40th birthday treat for my beloved wife who I had lots planned for that evening and, what a way to start it off.The room (kings room) was very clean and well kept with a real sense of attention to detail. The 4 poster bed with beautiful linen was very comfortable and a real feature of our stay.On a personal note there was a 40th birthday baloon and card placed for my wife upon our arrival in our room and it's this sort of thing that in my humble opinion sets the standard. Sandwich is a hidden gem as is this b&b.Our breakfast was lovely.Lots of choice and everything cooked well.The owners were very kind and accommodating and it was a pleasure to meet them and stay at their b&b.Highly recommended. We intend to return.

We were very lucky to find this adorable bed andbreakfast. The location was excellent close to everything.Our room was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. We stayed in the Cottage which was great as it meant we could come in late at night without disturbing any one. Every where was clean, the bed was comfy and warm. Stayed here in the Earl Room. Comfortable bed, lovely large bathroom.The breakfast was whatever you wanted and a time to suit. It's right in the heart of Sandwich with plenty of eating and drinking facilities.Propiertor very welcoming and no restriction on arrival times and will even pick you up from the station.

Fabulous stay at St Peter B and B. Locationcould not be more central in this lovely medieval village.Excellent bus and train connection, no need for a car rental. We had a lovely stay at St Peters. There was a bit of crossed wires getting in, but once we did we were very happy indeed, with the quality of accommodation and also the hospitality.We stayed in the stables which is separate and well set up. It meant our jet lagged kids did not keep the whole place awake. The full breakfast was a real treat and the kids loved the fruit, cereals and yoghurt. St.Peters Bed & Breakfast

Our family had the pleasure of staying at St. Peters Bed and Breakfast in July. The rooms were excellent as was breakfast. The location is spectacular and so close to all there is to see in Sandwich. The narrow driveway was no problem for our relatively small car, though required some strength of character to attempt in the dark as we arrived. We felt very warmly welcomed by Kelvin and Marisol. We had a wonderful few days at this charming, historic house. Bedroom was roomy and comfortable with large bathroom offering great spacious shower and bath. Really lovely. Kelvin is an interesting and informative host, full of local knowledge and ideas. Our room was spotless and nicely appointed, the four-poster bed was comfortable and only the squawking seagulls (briefly) disturbed our sleep! Breakfast was large and tasty and my gluten free diet was catered for without batting an eyelash.Criticisms - none at all.Points to note: it's a 17th century house, quirky and beautiful but, in parts,not made for very large people; and secondly note the description of the church bells and clock (and the seagulls!) and take ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.We very much hope to return; thank you Kelvin and team.

St Peters B & B offered a very comfortable overnight stay in beautiful Sandwich.The Hosts welcomed us wonderfully and nothing was too much trouble.The room was very spacious and comfortable and overlooked the church, which was a bonus for us.Loved loved loved the Church bells chiming, created an atmosphere that sent you back in time and for us was not intrusive, just simply beautiful. Our room had a private bathroom just for our use a short couple of steps down the short corridor but was not ensuite, which was the only minus in an otherwise faultless stay. The other rooms were all ensuite, so there is a choice, but we had booked late so we had no choice. Breakfast was delicious with a good choice.Well done and thank you!

We booked last minute because Kelvin (the owner) had released a couple of last minute rooms. We couldn’t have been happier! When we arrived there was a 1940’s event happening all weekend in and around the town. There were old war time cars and people dancing in the cobbled streets! It was so lovely.Kelvin and his wife were so incredibly welcoming, helped us with the local area, made sure we had a parking spot, offered us a cup of tea every time we walked through the door, nothing was too much trouble!The rooms were lovely and clean, we had a street view room and a large modern bathroom. The breakfast was superb, they offered yoghurts, cereals and fruit along with an English Breakfast. I’m a vegetarian so they offered me a lovely alternative and I couldn’t fault it.We mentioned we wanted to take a trip down to the beach in the morning so Kelvin got up early to pump the tires on the spare bikes he had! They gave us directions and a bike lock, so we could tie up the bikes when we reached the beach.Sandwich is a lovely little English town and St Peter’s Bed & breakfast made it even better!

Exceptional B&B situated in the heart of Sandwich a very short walk from all the historic attractions of the town and from the railway station. The hosts cannot be faulted. Beautiful old building maintained well full of character! Bed was very comfy, bathroom was amazing! Greeted with a warm friendly welcome, and a cup of tea/coffee. Kelvin was very easy going, and nothing seemed like too much trouble... Not that we needed alot!! I was planning on recommending to my parents, but the only thing stopping me is that the stairs up the rooms are quite steep and no don't think my dad would cope with them, just something to consider as it is an old house. Please don't change anything though as the character is its charm!! :)

We stayed 5 nights at St. Peters. We were welcomed and so well cared for by Kelvin and Marisol. Very good breakfasts left us satisfied on our walks and hikes until late afternoon. We would book here again!

We came to Sandwich for a wedding and chose the St Peters B&B based on other reviews we read - we weren't disappointed! The host was attentive, friendly and helpful and made us feel very at home. The shower is great and the beds comfy! We had a lovely breakfast the following morning. The location is very central too. I'd thoroughly recommend.

We felt that we struck lucky with St.Peters B&B. It is situated in the centre of Sandwich and parking is not too much of a problem.Our room was well equipped and comfortable and the en-suite very spacious.Excellent choice of breakfast, certainly no need to go hungry! The owners were very friendly and helpful. The main house is a character property, with stairs to match (small and narrow) that could present a problem for some people. We would certainly return.

We stayed here for three nights during the Folk and Dance festival. Situated right in the middle of the town it was an excellent place to stay. The owner was really interested in us and could not have been more helpful in meeting our every needs. The accommodation is first class.

This was a very pleasant place to stay and full of character.PARKINGAlthough there are no immediate parking spaces in St Peter's Street there are sufficient bays all around within a short walk from the guest house.FOODA very large choice of cereals, yogurts, fresh fruit and fruit juices to start your breakfast; followed by many different combinations of eggs with all the trimmings.ROOMThis was ensuite and excellent with both a bath and walk in shower! The bed was very comfortable and fresh milk available because there is a fridge in the room.RATING and VALUEWould definitely stay hear again.

A more friendly and considerate welcome would be hard to find. The 'annexe' was perfect, as indeed was the second room I moved to on a busy weekend where I was late to book. Comfortable, clean and quiet. An excellent B&B.

A wonderful stay in Sandwich which was made even more special by the excellent hospitality of Kelvin and Marisol, the B&B owners. Best breakfast in Sandwich. The location was perfect, a short stroll into the high street, where all amenities are on plot. We will definitely be back!

Me, my husband and our 6 month old stayed at St Peters for 2 nights. We had a warm welcome and the owners are very friendly and couldnt do enough for us. We were able to park on the drive but there is parking very close too. We had the smallest room which we knew but a big bathroom. It had everything we needed plus they provided a travel cot for us. We had a beautiful view of the church out our window too. Lots of places to eat/drink around within walking distance

To stay in a beautiful historic house in the middle of the wonderful old town of Sandwich. The accommodation was superb, the welcome and hospitality were magnificent, and if you like to start the day with a real serious breakfast you will have to go a long way to beat this. Nothing was too much trouble and we would like to thank Kelvin and Marisol for making our short stay such an experience. A rating of 5 doesn't go high enough!

Fabulous stay in Sandwich at St Peters B&B. My first time in the UK, just landed from Beijing, and the welcome was as warm as toast. I can't recommend this place too highly.

Friendly, relaxed, warm - all the ingredients for a pleasant couple of nights away.

Very friendly service. Quaint little place with a nice room and bathroom. Great breakfast.

A very comfortableand enjoyable stay

Lovely B&B directly opposite a 900 year old church. Room was great with tea and coffee, we had an ensuite room with shower. Breakfast was full on with a choice of cereal, fruit, toast and or a full fry up.Stairs up to rooms a bit steep and tight but considering the age of the building that's acceptable. Parking is limited but you can park (with permission) in a neighbouring private parking area for £2. Very enjoyable stay and will return in the future.

We had business in Deal and Sandwich and chose this beautiful home to stay in. The owners were so helpful and friendly. Our room was really nice and the whole house was quite quirky. We had a really good breakfast with an enormous choice. We would love to stay here again.

I stayed one night, it was the first time I tried a bed and breakfast and it was an excellent discovery. The owners are very nice people, ready to help and answer any of your questions. The house is beautiful as well as the city, the room big and the bed confortable. The breakfast was perfect, you can find whatever you want to eat. I tried the English breakfast and it was excellent. I highly recommand that bed and breakfast.

We stayed only one night but found St Peters B&B perfect it reflected the character of the town well as it is itself 400 years old.We hope to return and this will be our first choice of accomadation. Our host where very helpful and made us feel very much at home they have wide experiance of the world and enjoy thier guests company. Breakfast was a case of them asking what would you like for breakfast and what you ask for was quickly produced. Fresh fruit was certainly not out of a tin it was real fruit and on our visit a fresh pineapple just peeled and sliced was a thrill for us, rarely found even in most hotels it is out of a can. Every where was spotlessly clean and comfortable just like home even to the wobbley tap on the bathroom sink we have one just like that so no problem there.

A lovely relaxing stay in a lovely warm friendly atmosphere

Although we arrived later than anticipated we were greeted with a lovelypot of tea in the garden. The room was lovely with an enormous bathroom and we slept well. We had a very good dinner at The George and Dragon which was a short walk away. Perfectly situated for exploring sandwich. Breakfast was excellent and the owner couldn't have been more helpful. We will return.

The BnB is perfectly located. We felt immediately at home and had a great, newly refurbished room. Also the breakfast was very good and tasty. Kelvin and his wife are very friendly, welcoming and have been super hosts. We had a fantastic stay and would love to come again.

We stayed in the room with the four poster bed and on suite, the room was lovely and Kevin was very friendly and accommodating.The bed and breakfast is very central for everything that you want to see in Sandwhich, we would definitely go back.

We only stayed one night but that was enough to convince us to return. On our arrival and throughout our stay Kelvin was an impeccable host and couldn't do enough for us. Accommodation and food was excellent. Kelvin even too the time to book our table at a local eatery which he recommended and we were not disappointed. Suited us fine for a visit to see out friends in Sandwich. We upgraded to the cottage bbd found going up and down stairs to the bath roombut of a pain at night Otherwise all good, the owners are very helpful and make a nice breakfast. The location is very convenient esp. if the hosts help with parking! (as they cheerfully did for us)

The St. Peter's B&B is a beautifully restored house with nice and clean rooms. The owners gave us a warm and personalized welcome and prepared an excellent breakfast. We're gonna come back for sure. Thanks a lot Mr Murphy!!

We had a lovely time here; the owners welcomes us with cups of tea and biscuits for the boys, explained restaurants and sights nearby for us in detail and showed us to our very clean and tidy house. In the morning, we were served an excellent breakfast and invited to take our time before leaving (we went for a wander round Sandwich, which is an entrancing town). The Stable Cottage where we stayed was nicely decorated, clean and tidy, and the owners were very friendly and helpful; we would recommend this without hesitation.

Stopped over on a bike tour the owner was great with the bikes and cup of tea on arrival. We were made to feel very welcome and breakfast is great.Church bells do ring through the night but we slept well

The location is fantastic and the owner very friendly and hospitable.The breakfast is cooked to order and plentiful.Our room was on the 1st floor and a good size. The bathroom was great and shower fantastic!On a negative wifi did not work. People do complain about the bells we did not notice then . Great location, definitely recommend it!!

Thank you for your thoughtful review and for your company, not sure what happened regarding wi fi we have had no previous issues , and recently signed up for a better broadband,maybe the connection was incorrect or we were taking a payment which does temp take down internet, but we have now installed wireless payment which alleviates that problem.Hope to see you againKind RegardsKelvin and Marisol

Very friendly host and hostess in a quaint property in the centre of Sandwich. Lovely breakfast with a great choice,we had a double character room overlooking the church and a large ensuite bathroom with both bath and a wonderful walk in shower, would certainly recommend to friends.

Great hospitality.lovely and clean . Great food . Good value for money . Only downside is the church bells if your a light sleeper. Would highly recommend

Sadly our stay was too short. St.Peters is a lovely place, in a beautiful setting, and it is clear that Kelvin and Marisol put a lot of love into its running. They were friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived, offering us refreshments after our journey and recommendations of things to see and do locally. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom, with roll top bath, was sumptuous. We will definitely come again and recommend it to our friends and family.
